Dear Rosamund and Ben,
November 6, 2004 was marked on my calendar months ago. I can't express the feeling of serenity I had in my heart as I was sitting in the front row about to listen to Ben's closing keynote in Quebec City. My husband was next to me and I just knew we were going to live something very special together. ( I made sure he came from Montreal to Quebec City for those two hours) It was similar to waiting for the first note of a concert to start and letting go. And it happened just like magic, like music itself.
I loved the way you used music, humour, humanity and love for Rosamund and all people to raise our awareness of the power of possibility. One of the examples you gave was actually a fable of La Fontaine! "Le laboureur et ses enfants" was my grand-mother's favourite. So it really stroke a chord when you spoke about a treasure hidden somewhere under the earth. Reading "The Art of Possibility" and then hearing Ben live just made me realize how each one of us has the possibility to change the planet for the better by inspiring others one person at a time. Because Ben really touched each and every person in the room. If you happen to conduct the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal, I'll be there! And last but not least, if by any chance Rosamund could coach me ( I'm a coach myself), please let me know. I had to ask!
Merci infiniment pour tout!
