I wish to express my deepest thanks to you, the Philharmonia Orchestra and Telarc for producing the fine series of Mahler symphony recordings. Your discussion discs have helped me to appreciate the music of Gustav Mahler in a way I had never imagined possible.
I started listening to Mahler through the early stereo recordings of the 1st, 2nd and 9th symphonies conducted by Walter. Now, some 35 years later, I am beginning a new journey by listenig to your magnificent performances and the marvelous dicussion discs included in the sets.
